in class. Two pocket folders for turning in assignments.
Curriculum: IEW’s Medieval History Based Writing Lessons, Student Book, fifth edition, 2019. I will purchase this for you with your materials fee. Your student will receive their book at parent orientation or on the first day of class.
Course Description: If you have a middle school student who has never taken IEW before, this can also be a great place for them to start formal writing instruction if parents are committed to helping them at home. However, this class is also well suited to students who have taken a previous IEW class and are looking to hone their writing skills for high school and college. Consistent parental involvement and communication with me are extremely important for students to make progress in their writing skills in this class.
Students will develop their skill with the Structure and Style Writing Method while increasing their understanding of the time period known as the Middle Ages.
