Required Texts: British Literature: Cultural Influences of Early to Contemporary Voices Student Text by Masterbooks Other Required Texts: (via purchased hardcopy, library loan, or kindle) Additional reading will be required that are not inclusive to the core book. A list of these additional books will be distributed upon registration.
Prerequisite: Must have completed freshman and sophomore English and must be able to prepared a well written essay.
Supplies: 1” 3 Ring Binder; lined paper; pencils; reading journal; access to printer for essays and writing assignments.
Important Information: This is a college-prep literature class; therefore, it is essential students keep up with their readings and will be required to keep a reading journal. Included elements of this class will cover British Literary Legends and their works, historical discussions, group class discussions, essay and paper writing using MLA format, grammar usage reminders, and fun classroom activities.
