Course Description:
-High School Spanish meets 2x a week on Mondays and Thursdays throughout the year. Students are required to attend both days a week.
-In the second semester, we will visit a Latin American restaurant in the Charleston area. These events will be held on a Monday around lunchtime and attendance is required.
-We will use SOMOS, a Comprehensible Input and TPRS-based curriculum, and its online library of resources, Garbanzo, as well as other internet-based resources. There is NO Text for this curriculum, you will get any handouts or assignments from me. Assignments will be found on Google Classroom. You will need to set up an account for Garbanzo once I’ve given you the class key at Meet the Teacher. There is no need to purchase anything for this class, except a basic notebook/binder.
-Reliable internet access is a must, as much of the work assigned between classes will be online and you will need to have access every day.
