Course Description: Students will learn about physical science laws while having fun building with K’nex construction sets. The learning focus will be to gain understanding about simple machines by building examples of basic levers, inclined planes, pulleys, gears, and more. We will also spend time learning about bridge construction. This class is ideal for students who love to work with their hands, are kinesthetic learners, and enjoy challenging their creative abilities. Students need to be willing to follow directions and work together in groups with other students to accomplish their building tasks.
