Supplies: Girls will need to wear pink ballet tights, a pink or black leotard, a pink or black ballet skirt (pull-on elastic is best), and pink ballet shoes. Boys will need to wear a white t-shirt tucked into black shorts, white socks, and black ballet shoes. Please email the instructor if you have questions about purchasing attire.
Course Description: This is a pre-ballet/creative movement class for 3 & 4 year olds. The students will learn classical ballet positions, basic ballet movements, and explore creativity with a focus on worshiping God through the art of ballet. Parents will not be allowed to observe class in order to maximize our learning time and minimize distractions. There are two performances during the year: an informal Christmas parent showing and a Spring Ballet Performance. A costume will need to be purchased for performances. The materials fee covers the cost of the costumes.
*Please note that students who will turn 5 years old by September 1st should register for the Ballet 1 class. This class will have a maximum of 8 students in order to provide the best instruction. If you'd like to be placed on a waiting list, please email Bethany Willis.
