Join us for hands-on science as we dig into Apologia General Science. General Science is an engaging and comprehensive overview of geology, paleontology, archaeology, biology, DNA, physics, chemistry, and the fossil record. It is designed to transition middle school students to the pace and format of upper-level science courses. General Science is lab-based, and most of the experiments in the text will be completed and analyzed during class time along with discussing the weekly reading.
Weekly reading assignments, study guides, and module test will be completed at home. Students are expected to keep an organized binder for their assignments. A syllabus will be provided detailing our reading and assignment schedule for each semester.
