Materials Fee: $75 (plus $50 mid-year)
Supplies and Books required: Materials and Supplies will be provided.
This class will have high consumable materials (food). An additional materials fee of $50 will be due and need to be paid to Dawn Griffin by January 30, 2021.
Through lecture, demonstration, and hands-on experience, we will prepare interesting and delicious foods. There will be plenty of chopping, mixing, whipping, kneading, baking and cooking. Students will also learn
hygiene and kitchen safety
kitchen equipment and appliances use
techniques and skills
Our class size is going to be limited to 12 students who really have a desire to learn new skills in the kitchen, work well with others and can stay focused on tasks at hand. Students are encouraged to practice skills by cooking at home on a regular basis.
NOTE: This class CANNOT accommodate food allergies. – See Cooking Gluten/ Peanut Free Due to limited space, this class will first be offered to children who have not taken SHEEP cooking classes. Please contact teacher at firstname.lastname@example.org to be placed on a waitlist.
High School credit will not be given – no syllabus.
