Required for the parent to purchase: All Things Fun & Fascinating: Writing Lesson in Structure & Style (Revised Ed), 2012.
Supplies: 1” 3-ring binder, with four separate tabs for Current Work, Completed Work, Resources, and paper. Please use pens in this class.
Course Description: This is a “first step” upper elementary class for students with little writing experience. They will need to be able to copy board notes in class. Neatness and spelling are not important, but speed is helpful! Homework each week can be hand-written or typed. Feel free to contact me if you’re wondering which class is the best fit for your student.
Parents are expected to help their students with their weekly homework and edit the student rough drafts. Consistent parental involvement and communication with me are extremely important for students to make progress in their writing skills in this class.
