Supplies: textbook, binder with lined paper and graph paper, pencils, scientific or graphing calculator (TI-84 Plus is recommended)
Course Description: Accepted as a l credit for high school, This course focuses on the standard topics of algebra: adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing positive and negative numbers, inequalities and absolute values, linear equations and their graphs, graphing linear inequalities, measurements of central tendency, exponents, adding, subtracting and multiplying polynomials, factoring,
functions, introduction to matrices and radicals. Students will receive semester grades based on participation in class discussions, projects, quizzes and tests.
