Course Description:
Christians often focus on equipping students to love Jesus and live like Him – both are essential components of the Christian life! Yet they frequently neglect to prepare students to think like Jesus. Let me and the Foundation Worldview curriculum fill in the gap. In this class we will learn the skills children need to biblically navigate challenging cultural issues. We will get to the root of the issues, showing kids how a biblical worldview lines up with reality in a way that no other worldview does. We will use Foundations Careful Thinking Curriculum to give the students the skills they need to unmask faulty ideas and embrace the truth. We will be setting the children up to think critically in all areas of life. We will also learn some of the 50 fallacies using The Amazing Dr. Ransom's Bestiary of Adorable Fallacies. We will compare and contrast the key tenets of Atheism, Islam, Pantheism to Christianity using some of Summit Ministries' Walking in the Truth Competing Worldview curriculum. This class will have minimal homework. There is no prerequisite
