This course presents a survey of British literature from the Renaissance period to the Post-modern period. Students will study works of poetry, drama, and fiction. Students will participate in class discussions, read independently, complete vocabulary and
grammar activities, write a variety of essays and other writing assignments, and complete projects. Texts are selected from a diverse group of authors and traditions. I will give a week’s worth of assignments each week. This is a college prep level course,
but an honors option is available.
