Required for parents to purchase: Students need a reliable laptop or chromebook. A tablet or smartphone is not an acceptable alternative. Both the computer and its charging cable must be reliable.
This interactive course, designed for high schoolers, will serve as an introduction to the world of computers and digital productivity. We will learn how to use computers and the Internet as valuable tools without allowing them to control our existence. We will also learn how to keep the human network in the forefront as we learn to use common productivity applications individually and collaboratively.
The course will loosely follow the outline for the Internet and Computing Core Certification.
