Monthly Cost: $48
Materials Fee: $86 (plus $75 mid-year); This class will have high consumable materials (food). An additional materials fee of $75 will be due mid-year and added to your January 2024 invoice.
Supplies and Books required: Materials and Supplies will be provided. For hygiene and safety purposes, students will be required to wear closed toe shoes, an apron (supplied in class), and skull cap (student issued).
Course Description:
Cooking Basics & Baking is a cooking class geared towards higher elementary learning. Students will learn their way around the kitchen with basic skills with an emphasis on baking.
Students will learn: hygiene and kitchen safety, basic skills and techniques, ingredient measuring and usage, and team communication.
We will utilize Google Classroom for class communication. All students and parents will have to join. Students are encouraged to practice skills by cooking at home on a regular basis.
Class length: 1.5 hours
NOTE: This class CANNOT accommodate food allergies. Please contact the instructor at Dawn@sheep.education to be placed on a waitlist if the class desired is full at registration.
