Supply Requirements: The text for this course is covered by the materials fee and will be purchased by the instructor. Students will need to provide a one inch three ring binder, four dividers for the binder, colored pencils, glue sticks, and scissors.
Course Description: In this course students will learn the history of South Carolina using State History from a Christian Perspective by Joy Dean. In addition to learning about our state's fascinating history, each student will create their own project notebook using My State Notebook from A Beka. The notebook will include state symbols, fun and unique state facts, interesting history, and beautiful geographical features. The completed notebook serves as a wonderful reminder of everything we learn after the course is finished. There will be some homework for this course as well as quizzes and tests that the students will complete at home.
