Course Description:
Geniuses of Our Time is a fun hands-on class that blends history and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) while your student explores different geniuses throughout history. Your student will study each genius for a two week period. Week one will be an introduction to the genius of the week and work in their notebook. Week two your student will do a hands-on project related to the genius of the week. Incorporating STEAM with history is a great way for students to learn about historical figures and real life applications. Throughout the year we will study geniuses such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Leonardo da Vinci, Marie Curie and many others.
