This class is an introduction to Graphic Design and provides insight into the types of projects entry-level designers work on. The course objective will be to develop an entry-level understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. We will begin with the basics of Photoshop, how to work with a photograph, remove objects, insert new ones, selection processes and color correction. Then we will move on to Adobe Illustrator, learning the basics of how to draw vector line work, trace and colorize sketches. The course will culminate with a logo assignment done to full professional standards inserted into an ad mock-up created in Photoshop.
