Course Description: Let's have some fun and investigate a range of hands-on STEM activities! STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. In this class, students will learn about various concepts and participate in a range of hands-on STEM activities and challenges. Although the content covered will be similar to the STEM 1st-3rd class, we will take things a step further in this class. Example activities include creating a magnetic car, designing a parachute, making circuit cards, and creating a solar oven. Most activities will be carried out in small groups, while others will be carried out by individual students. I will provide each student with a STEM journal and the experimental supplies. There will be no work assigned outside of class. I'm looking forward to an exciting year of STEM with your student!
