Hendrix: Preschool Chorus

Grades: K3-K5, must be potty trained
Instructor: Lindsay Hendrix
Email: lindsayhendrix@sheep.education
Monthly cost: $27
One Time Material Fee: $35
Supply Requirements: None
Course Description:
Music is fun and also a wonderful teaching tool from the stories of the bible to the virtues we all should value. This class will be learning some of the new contemporary music, such as “Way Maker”, however, we will be learning and enjoying many of
the more classical fun Sunday School songs, such as “Joshua Fought The Battle of Jericho”, “I’ve Got The Joy”, and “I’m In The Lord’s Army”. We will also get up and learn the hand and body motions for these songs and possibly break out the rhythm sticks, movement scarves, streamers and more.
Students will also have the opportunity to make some fun, homemade musical crafts. Ideally, these will be completed in class and taken home the same day.
My goal is to nurture the love of music your child has while teaching them through song about the vastness of God’s love for His children. It will be my joy and honor to teach your children this school year.
